    NHSP Quality Consultants

    The Newborn Hearing Screening programme enables all parents the opportunity to have their baby?s hearing screened shortly after birth.  The programme's major aim is to identify all children born with a permanent hearing impairment within the first few weeks of life. 

    Now that implementation is complete across the UK, the programme centre will begin a quality assurance programme and is looking to recruit the services of exceptional individuals with a proven track record in service delivery, with visible leadership qualities and a commitment to the principles of family friendly service provision.  We welcome applications from individuals at a senior level in:

    • Local Co-ordinator Ref: MHS/284/06
    • Screener Ref: MHS/285/06
    • Administrator Ref: MHS/286/06
    • Midwifery Ref: MHS/287/06
    • Social Care Ref: MHS/288/06
    • Health Visiting Ref: MHS/289/06
    • Education (Early years) Ref: MHS/290/06
       

    All of the positions are employable on an ad hoc basis and we would expect commitment of between 1 - 7 days per month to carry out site visits and audit procedures.  We welcome secondments and consultants. The posts are initially to March 2007 with the likelihood that this will be extended for a further year.
